Within this large scale project, Medialand created a 3D visual database and many visual simulations to illustrate and make possible the validation of various urban design proposals. Thanks to the digital model that was created, different communication tools were developed, such as a CD-ROM, a web site with several interactive animations showing different routes around the site and panoramic views (using Quicktime). These visual tools made it possible to simulate major road developments such as the demolition or construction of bridges, changes in road design and the planting of street trees.
