Description:
This residential complex is situated in an exceptional location on the edge of Lake Brome. However, the construction work had seriously damaged the existing vegetation and created severe erosion problems. The owners association therefore commissioned Medialand to produce a master plan for the landscaping with the main objectives being to reintegrate the project into the environment, to manage the problems of erosion and drainage and to organize circulation around the site, including open spaces for the residents. The design and the selection of plant species emphasized the winter and rural aspects of the place, found in this part of Estrie. The project was conceived according to a participative approach, with the input of the owners representatives adding greatly to the planning process.
